Hi Everyone! Here's part 2 of the Occasion Mini Swap share and the Sale-abration Swap.
This card is from Danielle Bodden. Don't you love the bite out the corner of the card?! I love the chocolate colors of Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla. Eat Chocolate stamp set used (p 30 mini).
The next three cards used combinations from both Occation's Mini and Sale-a-bration (SAB)
The Love card uses images from Valentine Defined (p. 9 mini). Kellie Gatewood used the white floral grosgrain ribbon from Ice Cream Parlor's ribbon and button pack (p 7 SAB) for inspiration for the color.
And speaking of color…I totally missed that Melon Mambo is a current color…in my Clearance Rack post from a color a days ago I said 2 of 6 in the marker set are current when really 3 of 6. THREE current markers for $3.99 plu the others! Yaoza!
I used the same stamp set, embossing folder and punches for my Swap card. (see earlier posting) But this just goes to show that changing up the colors, one can make the same stamp set seem like using a totally different set.
Marty Hughes made this super cute card in Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery. She featured the scallop image from Punch Bunch (p 5. SAB) and the sentiment is from Create a Cupcake (p22 mini). It looks like she used some Smooch Spray and the little rhinestone bling to catches one's eye.
The last card is from Kellie Gatewood. She features the color Melon Mambo and we see different images from the Ice Cream Palor and Create a Cupcake. She put a little Dazzling Diamond on 2 of the cupcakes. The designer paper is from SAB too. Ice Cream Palor paper and Quick Accents.
I wasn't sure if I would choose Ice Cream Palor items from SAB but with these ladies' insprirations….it's on my list!
Thanks to my swap group for all your wonderful cards to help use with the idea starters!!!!
Happy Crafting! ~ Dee
