Hi Everyone! Today's card uses the new Create a Cupcake stamp set ( 121915 wood mount, 121982 clear mount) along with the coordinating Build a Cupcake Punch 121807 from the Occasions Mini. The colors I used remind me of the bublegum ice cream my daughter and nieces used to pick out at our downtown ice cream parlor. Oh how that blue die would turn their tongue blue! The ink and cardstock are Regal Rose, So Saffron and Temping Tourquoise. The layering pieces are cut at 1 1/2" x 3 and 1 3/4" x 3 1/4".
This stamp set has 12 images! Besides the cupcake componets, you get 3 sentiments, a small heart, candle, cherry, bow and cute little flower.
The cupcake icing top makes a nice cloud image! The bow could easily be put on a scrap paper to make a present. I've seen other demos use the cupcake base as flower pots and even skirts on punch art! We could play with this set and punch for weeks!
Here's the inside of the card…Okay, I have to tell on myself. I was noticed that SU shows the cupcake liner OVER the icing. I have the icing over the liner… guess why? That's how my cupcakes always look. I like it when the cake overflows the liner. It somehow doesn't look right to me when the icing is level with the liner 😉 Problably because my dad, a true cake and ice cream lover, would tease me about being chinzy with serving size!
Happy Crafting!~ Dee
