2011.12_IBC_small_image Hi Everyone!

It's here! The new Idea Book and Catalog…Whew Hew! As a flower girl, I feel like they designed the catalog just for me! I'm sure you will find lots of images, paper, colors, embellishments, and other goodies to inspire you to create something special for someone or yourself!

With the new Stampin' UP! year, I have a few new things and changes around my classes and clubs and will be updated as they are ready to share with all of you. Many changes are geared to let my stampin' friends create with me regardless of where you live in the US! stay turned…

There are many sets, some returning, some new that make up my long wish list not even including all the fun brads and ribbon that are on it too!

I recently described how I looked at my papercrafting to a friend as such: I look at my cards as an outfit. You need undergarments, a top, pants and accessories!
For cards or a scrapbook you need bases – cardstock. SU cardstock is high quality and spoils you quickly once you start to use 🙂 Whisper White and Very Vanilla are ultra smooth and rival or surpass any used with cards you can buy at stores. The colored cardstock is 2-ply and the color in saturated all the way through. This allows for certain techniques plus you never get the white fold line because the color runs throughout not just on top.
Tops and Pants – Stamps and Designer Paper.  These are the items that first catch your attention on you "outfit". They draw you in to see what's happening!
Accessories – Ink, brads, ribbon and such.  As the saying goes, accessories make or break an outfit! Have you ever had that perfect outfit, then no shoes or jewelry that goes with it? Frustrating! Coordinaing ink, brads and ribbon take your outfit to the next level. A bow here, a couple of brads there really pop your project!

When I find a stamp set, paper, embellishment, die, etc… that I have fallen in love with, I look to build my wardrobe. Do I have the other coordinating pieces to complete the outfit! I often think "do I have a stamp, paper (cardstock and DP) , ink, embellishment?" If not, my order reflects a complete the outfit. And it's amazing how your stamps will not sit on a shelf because your outfit is complete and you can't wait to create! And you all know I'm a huge fan of the assorted packs of the 'accessories': Assorted cardstock, Designer Paper and Stampin' Spots in the different color collections are 'little black dresses' in my stampin' closet!

So as you enjoy the new catalog, think wardrobe!

During the month of July, you can join the Stampin' UP! family for $99! It's valued at $185. Below is a list of what all is included!
