Hi Everyone! As July wraps up, I thought I would post a few more Christmas in July cards. A reason I was so excited about the new Perfect Pennants Die 123126 besides its pennant use was the triangle dies for perfect cards and other projects! (this is also the die being used in Aug's It's a Party class.)
Items used
Cardstock:
Pear Pizzaz as base
1" x 8-1/2" of each of the following – Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke and Garden Green. Note – you do not have to have all the different colors. One would work, but 2 or more adds a little more interest. (I used up some scrap strips too!)
Red Glimmer paper for ornaments
Daffodil Delight for star
Punches:
Small star (no longer available but could sub with Stars #2 Die 113461)
119853 Eyelet Border
Standard 1/4" hole punch for ornament
Accessories:
Dazzling Dimonds for star
Adhesives:
Tombo to adhere layers and adhere tree to base.
2-way Glue pen for dazzling dimonds
Stampin' Dimentionals to adhere star
Stamp: Petite Pairs
To make:
With Pear Pizzaz - Take a 3-3/4" x 4-3/4" and die cut the large triangle.
Cut a 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece and fold in half bringing short end together. This is the card base. Place folded card on large triange image as shown. Run through Big Shot to make base.
With eyelet border punch, make eyelet borders on all green strips. Starting at the bottom of your triangle, adhere layers until you reach the top. Trim as you go.
Adhere ornaments and star. Adhere tree to base. Stamp sentiment.
Happy Crafting!~ Dee
