Hi Everyone! Handmade matching envelopes add that little “somethin’ somethin’ “ to our cards and gift giving! And the new Simply Scored Scoring Tool 122334 is, in my opinion, the best scoring tool currently on the market!
To make our matching envelope, start with a piece of Designer Paper (Holly Berry Bouquet 124004 & Frostwood Lodge 124002 shown here….I’m in love with this paper! One is somewhat femine and the other traditional). Also shown is one of the card from October's Card Class. See Classes Page to the right.
Cut DP to 7 ¼” x 10 ¼”
Place on Simply Scored with the 7 1/4” side along the top.
Score at ¾” and 6 -1/2”
Turn paper so 10 1/4” along top
Score at 2 1/4” and 6 ¾”
With scissors, cut out corner rectangles formed from scoring.
Fold along score lines making crisp edges with a bone folder.
With Tombo, apply adhesive along bottom edges as shown. Tombo will hold up to the extra handling envelopes need.
