Hi Everyone! My local gals will have a chance to stop by on December 10th to make a set of Notebook Holders. The Clear-Mount Stamp Cases 119105 make for a cute handmade gift that can be used not only for Christmas, but for bridal showers, birthdays, etc… AND you can decorate them using only 1 sheet of Designer Paper!
The cases have a clear plastic cover sleeve that the designer paper slides into.
How to make:
*The jr. legal pad needs to be 7" x 5" or smaller. I went to Staples and had them cut a pack of jr. legal to exactly 7 x 5. I think they charged me $2.
*Cut a 7" x 10-1/2" piece of your favorite designer paper (DP). Decorate (if you even need to!) and slide into the cover sleeve.
*Cover the top of the note pad with DP. Use Tombo multipurpose glue or Sticky Strip to keep in place. You can either adhere the pad to the case or keep it loose.
*Score and fold the 5" x 12" into an envelope to keep receipts or notes.
– Line the 5" side to the top of Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Score at 1/2" and 4-1/2"
– Line the 12" side to the top of SSST. Score at 3" and 7-1/2"
- Cut out the corner rectangle made from scoring…all 4
– Fold inward the middle, outside flaps. Bring up the 4-1/2" end and adhere on the flaps.
-With Scallop Border punch, punch a decorative flap. Adhere with Tombo or Sticky Strip.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!~Dee
