Photo-1Hi Everyone! I had SUCH a fun day at my booth at my friends Rosie and Dawn's Fresh Vintage Craft fair today. My niece Micaela, who just finished her freshman year at college, assisted me in making and manning the booth. Thanks Micaela!!! We made the most out of the Fun Flower Die by using it 3 different ways. Above is little thank you and friend treats we made using the Suede technique. (we die cutted the flowers then crumbled them to break down the fibers. Then we carefully separated Stampin' Up!s 2-ply card stock. And since it's dyed all the way through, you get this really interesting suede look. ) Using the small cello bags, we wrapped 2 Oreo cookies and topped with the flower. The Regal Rose flowers had the new berry filling Oreos and the Wisteria Wonder had mint Oreos. Great teacher gifts !!! and party favors.

The second way was to ink around the edges and really use color to pop the flowers. We used the 1"x8" cello bags to hold summery pencils. We matched paper to the pencils.

The third way was we made designer fabric flower pins using the die. If you look at the top middle of the picture, you will see one of the pins. They were packaged in the 4×6 cello bags and topped with the matching designer paper Top Note. Flirtatious fabric shown.

Another hit was our Top Note birds: an Owl with a Starcrunch belly, Canary with a Lil' Debbie's Twinkie version, a Red and Blue bird with a Confetti Brownie.

We also had cards and metal garden orninments.

We met so many nice people and again, had a great time on a beautiful day at Rosie's.

Happy Crafting!~Dee
