Hi Everyone! My nephew Jacob helped in the creation of our Big Shot Bugs! I love punch art and decided to super-size it using die cut images. Most Big Shot Bugs are aroung 8" making them a focal point danging from the ceiling or on a bulliton board! Wings were made using the biggest heart from the Hearts Collection Framelits 125599 and most body circles from Circles #2 Originals 114526.
I think these Big Shot Bugs would be so fun hanging in a classroom! School, Sunday School class, child care, libraries…etc. The simple shapes would be easy for the children to assemble and possibly help die cut. I can also see using pictures of the kids on the bugs face!
I had kids helping in mind when I was creating the Big Shot Bug. Keeping faces and heads simple. I asked Jake if he wanted to help…and he outdid me!! I say "darn it…I want to make cute faces too!" But decided to show mine with simple designs. Jacob made the snail and the oval body bee. Not too bad for a hockey loving high school guy!!!
