Hi Everyone! This picture is so cheerful it should by our Christmas card! My friend Tina gave me this mantle scarf for Jeff and my first Christmas as a married couple and I use it every year. It brings me joy and happiness ..and I think that's what memories and traditions should do!
Today's project is made with the Petite Purse die125606 – such a versatile gift and party favor box. (I think it is!) The flocked window sheet from Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Paper makes for a unique take. A perfect jewelry package, party favor, fill with candy for coworkers, etc…
Tips with working with the window sheet!
1) I needed to add an extra shim to get the sheet to score and cut enough to pop out. For dies that score and cut the layers are top to bottom.
Plastic shim (that comes with crease pad)
Standard Crease Pad 113476
Acrylic Cutting Plate
So for the window sheets…I added the card board shim that came with the die (keep those!)
2) I like using Mini Glue Dots 103683 for this project. Sticky strip is too wide and Tombo takes a lot of love to hold into place with the plastic. The glue dots are just the right size to use along the side flaps.
This project was in Stampin' Success, our demonstrator bi-monthly magazine that's filled with more projects in the magizine and online! Thanks SU!
