DSCN2845Hi Everyone! I'm am so having fun playing around with different looks for this Swallowtail stamp (w 129213, c 129216). Such a totally differnt look from my other Swallowtail posting from a couple of days ago. If you are liking the Swallowtail stamp..leave a comment and holla' for the swalla' (tail) for me!

Here I embossed with Pool Part Stampin Emboss Powder 129398 on Summer Starfruit card stock 126839. Using Sponge 101610 wedges (take 1 sponge and cut into 4ths or so) and Island Indigo 126986 and Primrose Petals 126858 ink, sponge ink in a circlular pattern. Star in the middle of the image.
DSCN2839Take the 2nd color and continue in a round pattern until the Swallowtail is completed covered.

 

 

 

 

With Paper Snips 103579 trim out the image.

To make the card base, fold a piece of Summer Starfruit card stock in half. Using the Floral Frames Framelit 127012), die cut using the Big Shot Machine 113439. Make sure the edge of the framelit runs off the fold – this makes the card hindge.

With the same ink colors, repeat the sponging pattern. start in the center with one color, switching colors partway.

DSCN2844Run fron to card base through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Folder 120175. You will need to make 2 passes as the card base is larger than the frame!

Stamp sentiment and punch with Scallop Oval 119856. Tie bow using Summer Starfruit Satin Stitched Ribbon 126846.

NEW – I will share what being "FAB" means to me at the end of each postings! I turn the big 5-0 this fall…I know what you're thinking…"but Dee doesn't look a day over 48!" haha. I've set a New Year's Resolution to be my most FAB at 50 as I can be!  topics will be mental, phyical and spiritual. So let's start with our first one!

Being FAB – A healthly me. While weight is a constant subject with me and my sisters, LOL – it drives our hubbies to lots of eyerolling, it really is about feeling healthy. I have a goal of eating super healthly meals over the next few months and exercising 20 min a day. Not only to shed a few holiday pounds, but to boost my energy. And us wives and moms know it takes lots of energy to keep everyone else and the home running smoothly! So let's take care of bodies so we can care for our loved ones and ourselves!
