DSCN4693Hi Everyone! A little home cookin' Sunday Share. Home made ham and bean soup. Great for using up left over bone-in ham.

DSCN4690Ingrediences: ham, beans (I use a 16 bean mix in bag), 3 carrots, 3 stalks celery, one medium onion. I use my food processor to shredd very fine. Salt and pepper to taste. I season after it cooks re: depends on how salty your ham is.

Rinse beans. No need to pre-soak! woo hoo!!

Cover with water and stir (see image below) cook on low 8-10 hrs. I start in the morning and enjoy for an evening meal. It taste even better on day 2!
