Hi Everyone! Don't you love getting those Super Sized cards? Me too! and I bet your friends and family would love one as well. We can Super Size our envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board. I have a video tutorial below to show you the simple trick or tip to make the extra large ones!
If you use a Super Size Envelope of course you'll need a super sized card!
General dimensions:
Card base: 12" x 8-1/8" card stock
Envelope: start with a 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" Designer PaperOptional Belly Band: 12" x 1-1/2" plus a connecting piece of about a 2×2
My Super Size card and envelope are ready for Father's Day. My dad is a farmer and I thought he would like this Hardwood feel to his card. I used the new Bohemian Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Bohemian Cardstock Pack.
Father's Day card instructions:
Layering elements:
Bermuda Bay 8-1/4 x 5 -3/4
Delightful Dijon (3) 5x 2-1/2
With Hardwood stamp, stamp background in Early Espresso on the card stock layers.
With the Woodgrain embossing folder, ink side with Blackberry Bliss and insert a 4×6 Very Vanilla piece. HAND PRESS the embossing folder (do not run through Big Shot) to ink the paper with the pattern. Using Little Letters Thinlit Dies, die cut letters.
I had a retired pack of larger brad for the hardware. Sub with Mini Silver Brads or Candy Dots.
Belly Band: Deco Labels Framelits for the connector.
And I just HAD to make one using my favorite DP from the Occasion's Catalog and it's on sale this week! Painted Blooms. Here's how these Super Sized envelopes compare to a standard Whisper White Envelope.
