Hi Everyone! Welcome to my Christmas in July Kick Off! And thanks to fellow demonstrator Tanja Rath from Germany (I think) for sharing her inspiration! Her folder needed 12×12 cardstock and I modified it so we could use 8-1/2×11 cardstock ….which means you can make this with the coordinating Cardstock Pack…WOO HOO! Here's Tanja's link to her project.
I layered up the insides and pockets. Tomorrow's post will show the cards I created to go inside!
This is Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper is PERFECT for a little mass producing. BIG benefits with this holiday paper pack – 24 sheets, 4 each of 6 double-sided designs which means you have plenty of LIKE cards and folders. A normal pack is 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 designers. NOTE – the paper is lighter weight than typical SU Designer Paper. Which I find nice for making envelopes too.

Now for the Measurements!
For the Folder: 11 x 7. Score along the 11" side at 5-1/8" and 5-7/8"
Garden Green Cardstock: (3) cut at 5" x 6-7/8"
Cherry Cobber Cardstock: (3) cut at 4-7/8" x 6-3/4"
This is Christmas Designer Paper: (1) cut at 4-3/4" x 6-5/8"
Envelope Pocket: Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 5-1/4" x 6"
Score on 3 sides (2 short, 1 long) at 1/2" and 3/4". Cut out the corners as shown in the greyed out sections. (my drawing not to scale but gives you the idea!)
Layers:
Cherry Cobbler 4-3/8" x 4-3/8"
Designer Paper 4-1/4" x 4-1/4"
Lace Overlay. (2) Cherry Cobbler 4-3/8 x ~3" for die cut sections
Card Pocket: Very Vanilla cut at 4-3/8" x 6-1/8".
Score on 3 sides (2 short, 1 long) at 1/2" and 7/8". Cut out the corners as shown in the greyed out sections. (my drawing not to scale but gives you the idea!)
Layers:
Cherry Cobbler 4-1/4" x 3-3/8"
Designer Paper 4-1/8" x 3-1/4"
Cherry Cobbler for lace overlay: 4-1/4 x ~ 3-3/8". Die cut lace overlay.
Label for front – Die cut sizes and stamp sentiment and image from Oh, What Fun stamp set. Add jewel accents.
General Instructions:
Folder - Adhere ribbon to front of folder using Fast Fuse Tape. Add Front Layers overtop of Ribbon( ~ 20" Lace Ribbon )
Inside – glue inside layers.
Pockets – before folding – add layers. It's easier to add while flat ;).
Fold up sides and use Tear and Tape or Fast Fuse to add pockets.
