This card is going to….My Dad! A little story with a happy ending- Growing up, my favorite stuffed animal was a pink bunny. I slept with it every night. When I was at that age when my parents thought I was way too old to sleep with a toy, they took away my beloved stuffed bunny. I was devastated and cried for days.
30 years later, I was on vacation with Dad and his wife.. They came back from an outing with a surprise gift for me – when I opened it up it was a fancy, pink stuffed bunny! Dad told me,”I always felt guilty for taking your toy away when you were so obviously hurt and upset…so here’s a new bunny for you!” I am tearing up retelling this story to you!
When I noticed the Sweet Little Something stamp set in the Occasions Catalog, I knew instantly I needed it – and Dad will instantly know why he’s getting a fluffy looking pink bunny!
A big thank you to Dawn Griffith for her sketch layout!
