Hi Everyone! Welcome to our Sale-A-Bration Hop. My project is a easy Easter Basket! It show cases the Sale-A-Bration Springtine Foils Specialty Designer Paper.
All you need to make this easy basket is the following:
Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Paper: 2″ x 12″ & 1″ x 12″
Copper Foil Sheets: 2-1/4″ x 12″ & 1-1/4″ x 12″
Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock: (2) 2″ x 6 ”
And 1 jumbo muffin/cupcake liner
Tear & Tape
Pretty awesome so little supplies, right!?
Here’s a video tutorial followed by some step by step photos!
Step1 – Optional – Use Stampin’ Blends to color floral images. Layer onto Copper Foil Sheets
Step 2: Add Tear & Tape to the short end of the 2-1/4 x12. Bring ends together to form circle
.
Step 3: Add Tear & Tape the short ends of the 1″ x 6″ Very Vanillas. Photo shows prescored, but I found scoring wasn’t really necessary.
Criss cross the strips and adhere on the inside of the circle to make a bottom section.
I had pre scored at 1″ but you can bring up ~ 1″ on each side – but not an exact science. Just end up with a flat bottom to your basket. The inside won’t be seen anyway!
Step 4: Add Tear & Tape to the short ends of the handle. Add to inside of basket.
Step 5: Add jumbo muffin/cupcake liner to inside of liner and add grass – I used Sweet Soiree Ready Shreddie because the colors matched!
Add an embellishment and sentiment – Here I punched a 2″ circle from the Designer Paper and layered over a Copper Foil Sheet punched out with the Starburst Punch and added a copper embossing powder stamped sentiment.
So you could make several Easter Baskets out of a few sheets of Springtime Foil Specialty Designer paper and scrap Very Vanilla cardstock. AND plenty of this GORGOUS paper for other projects.
