The NEW Annual Catalog is here June 1, 2018! (Click here to see an online version) Once again Stampin’ UP! has outdone itself with a great mix of stamp styles, accessories, color and tools to help us with our paper crafting projects 🙂
And what better way than to kick it off with a Blog Hop too!
My card today is a gate fold card with a unique opening. The opening is created by using a die in the opposite direction with the “blade” side facing up. One makes the gate fold base as normal. Then sandwich the die with blade side up on the card’s inside. Position the die on the section where the bird is at. (decorate the inside of the card after die cutting.
If you enjoy seascapes, Lilypad Lake pairs beautiful with the entire Tranquil Textures Suite of products. Which is what I’ve done on this card!
• Whisper White: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” Scraps for die cutting
• Mint Macaron: (2) 2” x 5-3/8”; 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”; Scraps for die cutting
• Tranquil Textures Designer Paper: (2) 1-7/8” x 5-1/4”; 4” x 5-1/4”
• Night of Navy: ~ 4”x 3” for die cutting
• Tranquil Tide: scraps for die cutting
1. Score Whisper White card base along the 8-1/2” side at 2-1/8’ & 6-1/4”.
2. Add layering pieces to panels.
3. With cutting side face up (opposite of normal, place on the inside center of card.
4. Close flaps and run through the Big Shot. Note – it will be tight but will cut. This will cut out the oval window on the front of the card.
5. Die cut scallop oval frame using Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.
6. Add inside layers.
7. Stamp and die cut images. Color using Stampin’ Blends Markers.
8. Die cut oval and stamp images.
9. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add elements
Hi Everyone! OMGoodness! Pyramid Pals Bundle is soooo stinkin' cute! You can make one box out of a 1/2 sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock (in other words – 2 per sheet!). If you have ever assembled Curvy Keepsake Thinlit Box, it's the same idea.
Above is 2 cut outs to form the box. TIP! Stamp any spots or extras prior to assembly. I die cut the ears and nose for this puppy pyramid. Add eyes and mouth using Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I also add a little glitter using the new Wink of Stella glitter pen!
Kids would LOVE stamping and stuffing treats in these for Valentines' Day. (or any other occasion!) The box isn't big but big enough for a snack size treats.
I prefer the Mulitpurpose Glue to Tear & Tape when putting together. On my pig, I used Tear & Tape and the points are hard (for me) to line up and stay. With the glue – you can go all the way to the point.
Add a glitter heart and you're ready to give as a Valentine's treat!
General Instructions: Die cut pyramids. Stamp prior to assembly. Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to glue bottoms together as well as one side of the box. Tuck in treats and tuck in back side (don't glue unless you don't mind them ripping open for the treats!) Punch at glitter hearts. Die cut noses/ears and attach with Glue Dots and Stampin Dimensionals.
Hi Everyone! I just couldn't stop making these little cuties! Here they are shown in each of the 5 colors from the 2013-2015 In Color Backgrounds Designer Paper Stack. See yesterday's post for written instructions or watch a Start to Finish video tutorial below.
Hi Everyone! OMGoodness…how stinking cute is this guy!?
It uses Stampin' UP!'s Fry Box Bigz Die 132966 and a little punch art for the face. 2013-2015 In Colors Backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stacks 1310136 used to make the box. The stack comes with 40 sheets – 4 each of double-sided designs in 5 colors. Baked Brown Sugar used in our example!
The Fry Box assembles so quickly! It stands ~3-3/4" tall (back) and is ~ 1-1/4" wide. It's smaller than a fast food fry box – more petite and a great gift-giving size!
The Designer Paper is light weight so you'll want to be careful not to overload. If you need a sturdy treat container, sub out the designer paper for card stock 🙂

Punch face and ear parts. Ink around edges with sponge dauber and Strawberry Slush. Make 3 dots on 1" circle and use top of dauber to make pink on cheeks. Adhere bakers twine to back of cheek circles. Assemble as shown using dimensionals (foam dots) to pop up the cheeks.
Look for a video tutorial soon!
Take care my stampin' friends!*****************************************
