AND since the hop is about showing it 2 Ways, here I used it as a Valentine’s Gift. Perfect for someone whose New Year’s Resolution was to be healthier – no sweets but a cute gift using the Acetate Card Boxes 144628. I picked up some cute office supplies to match the How Sweet It Is Designer Paper
Hi Everyone!I meet monthly with my team..both in person and via Facebook Live on our team Facebook Page. July’s swap theme was Monochromatic plus a neutral. Meaning the same color ink, paper and embellishment and a neutral accent.
The Dolls (my team name is the Designer Paper Dolls) told me this was one of the hardest challenges! To try to stick with just one color. Which kinda surprised me at first, but once I got thinking about it, I shouldn’t be…these stampers are awesome and love their stampin’ stash!
I have a slightly different embellishment technique for you today: Stacked Embellishments. What you do is duplicate your image and stack it on top of itself for a unique raised layer.
The card features the Limited Edition Blended Seasons Stamp Set – Available August 1-31, 2018 only! And while supplies last.
This is a great stamp set as it transitions from summer to fall to winter. If you are looking for a versatile stamp set, this is for you!
I will be showing this stamp set and designer paper over the next few days so you can see how the 2 really compliment each other!
Measurements:
Whisper White: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 plus scrap for stamping
Calypso Coral: 4 x 5-1/4
Tea Party Specialty Designer Paper: 3-3/4 x 5
Rich Razzleberry: 2-1/2 x 2-1/2
My pick for this week’s Must Have Mondays is the new Varied Vases Bundle. I am over the moon about this bundle! In fact my Facebook VIP group is getting a sneak peek look at future projects using this bundle on Wednesday. (My VIP group is for anyone who places an order with me, takes a class or is part of my downline team!)
I enjoy a stamp set with coordinating punch for 3D layers for visual interest, don’t you 🙂 This stamp set is a great for a wide variety of uses and seasons…which is why it’s a Must Have in my collection!
I CASED this project from the annual catalog..so stinkin’ cute I had to try it myself! It’s also a card in my local June’s card class offering.

Hi Everyone! Welcome to our monthly hop! Our theme is “It’s Hard to Say Goodbye!”. Many stamp sets, bundles, accessories and colors go bye-bye this time of the year as Stampin’ UP! retires some products to make room for new ones! (See All the Last-Chance Products Here)
I love all things small! So the Fruit Basket Bundle had my name all over it. The cutest, I mean cutest pineapples, strawberries and pears (and watermelons not shown) you will ever see are in this stamp set with coordinating punches!
Fruit images and motifs are so trendy right now! Especially pineapples! And with the word “friend” in the stamp set, our little images needed a face and a buddy!
Ideas to use the Fruit Basket Bundle:
Perfect for all your summer BBQ party invites and favors.
Create a tag to accompany your strawberry pie or pineapple upside down cake!
The cards also have an added textured touch as I embossed the card front layer using the Layered Leaves Textured Embossing Folder for a subtle nature element. TIP! I show in the supplies the Tutti-Frutti ink spot pack…great way to get a sampling of inks to complete the look!
Measurements:
Card base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
Cardstock Mat: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
Designer Paper: 4 x 5-1/4
Band 2 x 4-1/8
General Instructions:
Adhere (Multipurpose Glue) the designer paper and cardstock mat. Run through the Big Shot using the Layered Leaves embossing folder.
Run the band through the Big Shot using Basket Weave (it was a Sale-a-Bration item and is returning June 1st!)
Stamp and punch fruit. Use journaling pens to add faces! I used both pen sizes so you can see the look. I prefer the finer tip.
Stamp sentiment on circle and layer as shown. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the fruit and regular Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Starburst.
Add sequins.
TIP! – Reminder that while some products and coordinating dies and punches will still be available in the next catalog – which starts next month in June – the BUNDLE discount will go away! The Daisy Delight Bundle is an example. Saving 10% as a bundle will go away. The stamp set and punch will still be available but sold separately.
