Designer Team Swap Cards – Monochromatic Theme

Designer Team Swap Cards – Monochromatic Theme

Hi Everyone! I meet monthly with my team..both in person and via Facebook Live on our team Facebook Page. July’s swap theme was Monochromatic plus a neutral. Meaning the same color ink, paper and embellishment and a neutral accent.

The Dolls (my team name is the Designer Paper Dolls) told me this was one of the hardest challenges! To try to stick with just one color. Which kinda surprised me at first, but once I got thinking about it, I shouldn’t be…these stampers are awesome and love their stampin’ stash!

This was the first swap where we all had items from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog that started in June. Many of us used Pop of Petals Bundle! (stamp set and punch)

We would love to have you on our team and create with us! For the discount or start a business! Click here for more info about being a Stampin’ UP! Demonstrator! or email me any questions you may have.

Team Swap Cards – June ’17 Theme: Fun Folds

VID03156Hi Everyone! Last month our team got together to make shoe box swaps with the theme FUN FOLDS. Since it was just our local teammates swapping this month, we did it shoe box style. We each bring supplies for others to make our swap card.

I have a video at the end of this post so you can see the cards in action! Here are the Doll’s designs!

Summer’s Fan Fold with Flaps Card

Above is Summer’s Fan Fold Card. OMGoodness what a fun Fun Fold! The accordion sides pairs with panels is super cool!
And I love the balloons added to the Sheltering Tree image.

DSCN6354Below is Beth’s Die Cut On the Fold Card! She showed us how to die cut a circle on the fold and make this constantly changing look! So clever.

Beth Bolinger’s Die Cut on the Fold Card

Each time you fold out, you get a different look…A great way to show case your Designer Paper until you get to the inside layer.

DSCN6360Linda’s Double Dutch Gate Fold card, well, blew us away! It uses the new This Little Piggy stamp set. She had A LOT of the prep work done as there is a fair amount to assemble but well worth it!

Linda Leighty’s Double Dutch Card

And last but certainly not least is Davette’s Banded Fold Out Card

Davette Miller’s Banded Fold Out Card

The new Daisy Delight Bundle was so uber popular with us Demonstrators during our pre order the punch went out of stock! We cannot even order just yet but will again in a few short week. It rocks! and I’m sure will be on everyone’s list once available.

When you slip off the band,  the front unfolds allowing for many areas to add images, pretty pictures and designer paper.

DSCN6362And my swap card can be found on my previous post.

Here is a video that I hope show cases these awesome cards my friends created.

Team Swaps – Easter Punch Art

DSCN5879Hi Everyone! Here are the Designer Paper Dolls' (my team) Easter Punch Art February Swap Cards. Themes are given but the Dolls can make whatever they wish. Love them! Showcasing from left to right then front.

Nancy Taylor's Swap Card

Nancy's sheep is soooo cute! She left the sentiment out because she wanted us to use for Easter or possible a baby shower card! She used the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Word Window Punch (legs), 3/4" Circle Punch for face and ears and a flower for the top. Love the embossed body!

Davette Miller's Swap 3-D

Davette made us some 3-D Easter goodies with a Bunny wrapped juice box AND the filled Polka Dot Cellophane Cone above filled with goldfish crackers. SUCH a CLEVER idea to wrap a juice box! She used (retired) Heart Collection Framelits, Leaf Framelits or dies for ears, 3/4" Circle Punch for cheeks, and the heart from Itty Bitty Punch Pack. Love the eyes…SO DETAILED!

Linda Leighty's Swap Card

Linda's GORGEOUS Easter Card uses the Elegant Butterfly and Bittty Butterfly Punches over a retired leaf die and leaf punch from another vendor. She heat embossed the sentiment on Oval Framelits layer. Background layer embossed with retired Polka Dot folder. It's a WOW card for sure!

Summer Moser's Swap Tag

Summer's Easter tag is the epitome of stinkin' cute! 1-1/2" Circle Punch, Extra Large Oval Punch, Word Window Punch, 1/2" circle Punch, heart punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack,  2-3/8 Circle punch – cut into wedge for carrot. Tag is from Chalk Tag Framelits. Whiskers are Whisper Whit Bakers twine – pull apart the strands.

Thanks Dolls for another awesome  swap!

14 Days of Valentine’s: Project 6 Team Love Swaps

Summer's and Nancy's Jan. 2016 Swap Cards

Hi Everyone! Local Designer Paper Dolls met Saturday for Fun, Food, and stampin' Fellowship. Our January swap them was Love – but it didn't necessarily have to be Valentine's. Above is Summer Moser's and Nancy Taylor's swaps cards.

Summer's Add Color to Designer Paper Swap

Summer used Timeless Elegance Designer Paper and sponged with Real Red Classic Ink the rose image. Die cut LOVE with Gold Glimmer Paper overlay make for a sophisticated Valentine's Card.

DSCN5852Nancy make a Friendship Love card – I think Valentine's Day is a great time to let our friends and besties know that we love them and how much they mean to us! What I wanted to share about Nancy's is that little punch heart accent found on the inside. Such a cute detail! While she used a non-Stampin' UP! punch for hers, we tested the heart in the Owl Builder Punch and it worked great!

Next post will have Davette's and my swap.

September 2015 Designer Paper Dolls Swaps

DSCN5602Hi Everyone! Here are the September Swap Cards from Designer Paper Dolls Davette, Summer and Linda! Swap theme was Fall Birthdays. I'll share my swap project tomorrow with it's video tutorial!

Let's take a closer look at their swaps from left to right!

DSCN5603Davette's card uses the Woodland Textured Embossing folder and the Leaflets Framelits and Hello You Thinlits to create her card. She embossed the inside too!

DSCN5605How happy does Summer's card make one!? English Garden Designer Paper is accented with a Pansy Punch embellishment to highlight the floral image. A feminine birthday card with non-feminine colors…beautiful!

DSCN5604Linda also used the Woodland folder! Leaflets Framlits and retired SU die that had acorns (could sub with the new Acorn Builder Punch) she applied Crystal Effects to for the shiney, slightly 3D look.

I {heart} all my teammates! We have a great time connecting on our private Facebook Page, Team Challenges ( they can win prizes from me just for stamping and sharing, and some business challenges too,) and more. We would love to have you be part of our group – whether you are a savvy shopper for the discount or want to start your own business! Take care!
