Hi Everyone! This is card #2 in a card series that uses pop-ups and the Have a Cuppa product suite by Stampin' UP! I so wanted to use the lemon paper from the Have a Cuppa Designer Paper Stack. It's so fresh and cheerful!
Here's the front of the card. I am LOVING putting these coordinating Have a Cuppa embellishments on the front of the card. Yes, it will make me add another stamp to the envelope when I mail them, but so well worth it!
TIP! I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the big stamped image on the front. It had some uneven stamping and the Wink of Stella helped blend it together!

Hi Everyone! Balloon Celebration Bundle was used in this angled Tri-Fold Technique card. I found Patty Bennett's holiday version and had to make a birthday version! Such a fun, interactive card that folds out and stands on its own for display. It's one of my 3 cards that features a core group of items from the It's My Party Suite and Balloon Celebration Bundle.
What's awesome is that you can make 2 tri-folds out of 1 6" x 12" piece of card stock!
With pencil, mark 1" up from the 6" side on the left and mark 1" down from right. Take to your Stampin' Trimmer and line up the dots on the cutting track. (line below is just for a visual..do not draw a line.) NOTE! Score first THEN trim. See general instructions below.
Take to Stampin' Trimmer and line up the dots. Paper will be at an angle.
Close guide and cut!
12×6 Whisper White Cardstock. Score at 4” & 8” along 12 side.
5-1/2 x 4-1/4 Melon Mambo
5-1/4 x 3 It’s My Party Designer Paper
Here's my Tuesday Tip on creating a moonlight effect on your cards. This video tutorial will take you start to finish! Watch the 1/2 half for the technique and continue watching to see the card come together including the inside of the card.
Hi Everyone! OMGoodness! When I spied Dawn Griffith's stain glass windows, I instantly knew I had to share with my local stampers for a WOW card class. You can find Dawn's Video here on how to make.
These are truly GORGEOUS! My tip is to let the glittered stain glass image sit around 4 hours prior to cutting. Just to make sure. You don't want to gum up your scissors!
For my versions, I stamped background images and added Gold, Silver or Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to add a subtle, light catching sparkle. At class, we made 1 gold verson and 1 silver versions of the cards. Metallic is SO on trend this holiday season and the girls now have 6 special WOW cards to use. (But i have to say, it will be hard to part with mine…so pretty!)
I love, love this technique. And it's not limited to just Christmas. I'm already thinking wedding bells, Valentine's hearts, baby cards, etc!! And if you are looking for a truly elegant image, the Dove of Peace stamp is beautiful.
I used retired Real Red Stampin' Glitter for the poinsettia flower.
