Tip Tuesday is about storing your Paper Pumpkin stamps.
There are many different ways to store your Paper Pumpkin stamps. I’ve tried a few different ones over the years and what I like best is to keep the photo instructional sheet and the stamp set together. First – let me share what I keep:
The stamp! Labeled with the month and year.
The photo instructional sheet.
The cardboard backing the kit is shrink wrapped in.
Here’s another card with a Wobble spring!. The dragon wiggles when the card is held due to a spring made for crafting! I found my Wobble Springs on Amazon HERE but I’m sure other hobby stores carry them too!
Here’s a great look at the wobble spring. This card was part of my recent local card class all featuring Wobble elements.
Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 4-1/4 x11 for card base. 1 x 4 for sentiment.
Basic Black Cardstock: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8. 1-1/8 x 4-1/8 for sentiment. Scrap for dragonfly apprx 3×3.
Petal Passion: 4 x 5-1/4
Glimmer Paper – Scrap for dragonfly. ~3×3
With brayer, add color to designer paper. Add card front layers.
Stamp and layer sentiment. Use Triple Banner Punch to make banner.
Die cut dragonfly’s body out of Basic Black. Add a 3×3 piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to back of glimmer paper (Tip! peel off backing of glimmer paper for easier die cutting! Do this prior to adding the adhesive sheet.) Die cut detail dragon fly image. Peel off adhesive and add to black body.
Add wobble spring to top of dragon fly and add to card base. Add sentiment.
Hi Everyone! I have been fighting off a 2nd round of a sinus cold that lasted 2 weeks! Just enough to sap all my extra energy out after work. I have lots of new items to share after OnStage! I will try to post a few quick posts throughout the weekend! OnStage is a Stampin’ UP! event that’s exclusive to demonstrators. 3 local teammates plus myself are driving to the Milwaukee on Friday. So much fun!
Last month, our team swap theme was to use a stamp set we bought, but haven’t used yet. Pretty Kitty was mine! Here I stamped the image in Memento Ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends. Stampin’ Bends were SO POPULAR that they are out of stock. Stampin’ UP! is going to wait until JUNE before anyone can order more. I’m not surprised at the response to these markers. So easy to use. Many of you were able to get your markers or sets so I’m sharing.
To mass produces, I die cut the scallops then stamped. Then used each color on each stamped image.
General Instructions: Emboss 4 x 5-1/4 Calypso Carol Cardstock with the Basket Weave Folder (Sale-a-Bration Item available in the new Annual Catalog in June). Die cut Daffodil Delight and Thick Whisper White Cardstocks using Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Stamp and color image and layer elements unto 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White Cardbase.
Hi Everyone! How fun is using Brusho Crystal Colours?! Such a different way to achieve a watercolor background.
It’s easy to get this look and a little Brusho Crystals go a long way. The sentiment and the dies are from the bundle Petal Palette…OMGoodness I’m just starting to play with this set and it’s moved to my new favorite from the Occasions Catalog. My next few postings will feature this set.
• Very Vanilla Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
• Watercolor Paper: 3” x 4 1/2″
• Basic Black Cardstock: 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″, 1” x 4”
• Brights Cardstock: Scraps of Old Olive & Melon Mambo
Sprinkle Brusho Crystal Colour (one or more colors) on watercolor paper – remember a little goes a long way and you can always add more later. Take your Stampin’ Spritzer and mist and watch the color spread in a random pattern. If you wish to add more, sprinkle and spritz until you are pleased with the look. Set aside to dry completely.
With Tear & Tape, add tape to back of Watercolor Paper on all four sides and layer on Basic Black Cardstock. Add to Very Vanilla card base. Die cut images. Add to card. With Banner Triple Punch, punch banner tails. Stamp sentiment. Layer banner tails and add to card with Dimensionals. With Stampin’ Blend, color rhinestones and add to card.
