Tip Tuesday – Storing Paper Pumpkin Stamps

Tip Tuesday – Storing Paper Pumpkin Stamps

Tip Tuesday

Hi Everyone!

Tip Tuesday is about storing your Paper Pumpkin stamps.

There are many different ways to store your Paper Pumpkin stamps. I’ve tried a few different ones over the years and what I like best is to keep the photo instructional sheet and the stamp set together. First – let me share what I keep:

  1. The stamp! Labeled with the month and year.
  2. The photo instructional sheet.
  3. The cardboard backing the kit is shrink wrapped in.

Then take 2 cello bags

Here’s why

  • Keep the stamp and the sheet together so you remember what the kit looked like.
    • In the past, I just kept the stamps and thought “ohm” wonder what this made!?
    • This way, I have a creative starting point.
  • Label the stamp set with month and year. This info is on the sheet but this acts as a quick reference to get it back into the correct month.
    • If you have several stamps sets out at once, then go to store away – this quickly gets the stamp back into the right sleeve.
  • The cardboard will act as backing so it stores either upright or flat.

Blog Hop- Inspired By Dawn -Peek-A-Boo Gate Fold Featuring Little Elephant Bundle

Welcome to our Monthly Hop!
Theme this month is “Inspired by Dawn!”

So many inspirations to choose from! Dawn Griffith is my upline and has inspired probably millions of stampers. I love that we are recognizing her contribution to our stamping community!

The Peek-a-Boo Gate Fold layout was chosen for my inspiration card – it is not only a fun take on the fold…but super easy to make!

Little Elephant bundle was used to make my Inspired by Dawn card!

Measurements:
Card base: 5-1/2 x 7-3/4. Score along long side at 1-3/4 & 6
Whisper White: (2) 1-1/2 x 5-1/4  for panels & 4 x 5-1/2 for inside
Designer Paper: (2) 1-1/4 x 5

While Little Elephants is definitely for a baby card, it does contain other sentiments so it’s goes beyond just for baby! I love cute images and so this stamp set with coordinating punch is all me!

And the inside

Please continue on with the hop!

Pretty Kitty Team Swap Card

Pretty Kitty Team Swap Card

Hi Everyone! I have been fighting off a 2nd round of a sinus cold that lasted 2 weeks! Just enough to sap all my extra energy out after work. I have lots of new items to share after OnStage! I will try to post a few quick posts throughout the weekend! OnStage is a Stampin’ UP! event that’s exclusive to demonstrators. 3 local teammates plus myself are driving to the Milwaukee on Friday. So much fun!

Last month, our team swap theme was to use a stamp set we bought, but haven’t used yet. Pretty Kitty was mine! Here I stamped the image in Memento Ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends. Stampin’ Bends were SO POPULAR that they are out of stock. Stampin’ UP! is going to wait until JUNE before anyone can order more. I’m not surprised at the response to these markers. So easy to use. Many of you were able to get your markers or sets so I’m sharing.

To mass produces, I die cut the scallops then stamped. Then used each color on each stamped image.

General Instructions: Emboss 4 x 5-1/4 Calypso Carol Cardstock with the Basket Weave Folder (Sale-a-Bration Item available in the new Annual Catalog in June). Die cut Daffodil Delight and Thick Whisper White Cardstocks using Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Stamp and color image and layer elements unto 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White Cardbase.
