14 Days of Valentines: Day 5 – Pyramid Pals Valentine’s Treat Holders

Pyramid Pals

Hi Everyone! OMGoodness! Pyramid Pals Bundle is soooo stinkin' cute! You can make one box out of a 1/2 sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock (in other words – 2 per sheet!). If you have ever assembled Curvy Keepsake Thinlit Box, it's the same idea.

Pp3Above is 2 cut outs to form the box. TIP! Stamp any spots or extras prior to assembly. I die cut the ears and nose for this puppy pyramid. Add eyes and mouth using Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I also add a little glitter using the new Wink of Stella glitter pen!

Kids would LOVE stamping and stuffing treats in these for Valentines' Day. (or any other occasion!) The box isn't big but big enough for a snack size treats.

I prefer the Mulitpurpose Glue to Tear & Tape when putting together. On my pig, I used Tear & Tape and the points are hard (for me) to line up and stay. With the glue – you can go all the way to the point.

Add a glitter heart and you're ready to give as a Valentine's treat!

General Instructions: Die cut pyramids. Stamp prior to assembly. Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to glue bottoms together as well as one side of the box. Tuck in treats and tuck in back side (don't glue unless you don't mind them ripping open for the treats!) Punch at glitter hearts. Die cut noses/ears and attach with Glue Dots and Stampin Dimensionals.

Assemble the box using Tear & Tape.

Die cut the word YUM out of Rose Red using the die that comes with the set. Using the circle you cut out of the box and using the reverse design side, adhere YUM using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Cover the front of the Mini Clothes Pin with Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. Add Lindor Strawberry's & Cream Truffles inside (5 shown) and keep top closed with clothes pin.

General Instructions for the card and envelope.

14 Days of Valentine’s Projects Day 2: Be Mine Chocolate Treat Holder

14daysofval Valentine's Treat Holder
Hi Everyone! It's day 2 and I love this little box for snack size wrapped chocolates! I think half of it is that the Snicker's bars say Be Mine and Valentine! The other half is it hardly uses any supplies to make the box 😉

DSCN5828The box has a belly band around it and you slide out the candy. I think this would be a sweet treat to make for the office, teachers and a fun lunch box surprise!

Also  – please note how it uses most of the same supplies as yesterday's card! A handful of coordinated supplies can go a long ways 🙂

Box – Blushing Bride Cardstock 2-1/4" x 4"  Score 1/2" on all (4) sides.
Belly Band: – Rose Red Cardstock 3" x 4" and Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack 2-3/4" x 4"

General Instructions:

Box: Along the 4" side - cut score line until it intersects with the other score line. Flip to other 4" side and repeat. You will make 4 cuts total. Crease fold lines with Bone Folder and fold up to make box bottom. Set aside.

Belly Band: Adhere Designer Paper to top of cardstock. Add Tear & Tape to back along the 3" side. Wrap around box and join sides. Do not adhere to box 🙂 We want it to only wrap around so box slides out like a match box.

Stamp sentiment and punch out . Punch hole using the 1/8" handheld punch. Tie baker's twine and add to front with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Valentine’s Day Cupcake Picks

DSCN5034Hi Everyone! These yummy (yes…I tested!) cupcakes are going to work with me this morning to our employees. We {heart} our hard-working guys! I made them in a mini loaf pan. You can find the liners for these pans in a store’s baking section.

I used strawberry heart shaped marshmallows and conversations hearts to decorate. My Lunch Buddy (mentorship program in schools) used up all my sprinkles on her cupcakes yesterday. The jars were getting low anyway. But like glitter, the sprinkles made them extra festive!

DSCN5030Don’t you love Stampin’ UP! punches?! They made these picks come together so fast. Items used:

Lollipop stick – found in baking isle.

General Instructions. With 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, punch 2 from Coastal Cabana Cardstock per pick. Option to emboss with Happy Heart Embossing Folder. Ink around edges with Coastal Cabana ink and sponge dauber. Punch out hearts with  Stacked with Love and Red Glimmer paper. Use dimensionals to adhere all layers. Sandwich the pick using dimensionals to hold.
