Hi Everyone!
Here’s a card idea that takes a different turn using the Grapevine Dies and the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I made (or tried to make) a brick wall with a column using that embossing folder along with the Stacked Stone background stamp.
I used the Basic Border Die to create my clouds (see last week’s post on this too).
General Instructions: Die cut “cloud” border from basic borders die to use as a mask. With Misty Moonlight and Blending Brush, make cloud background. With Crumb Cake ink, stamp on basic white (~ 5 x 5-1/2) using Stacked Stone image.
With Cherry Cobbler ink, apply ink directly to the inside top of the embossing folder. Add stamped cardstock – making sure the bricks are going in the same direction. They will not match up. Emboss.
Cut column first. 2 wide b 4 long. The wall is aprox 3-1/2 wide by 2 high. Add wall first to the card front. Use stampin dimensional to add column.
Die cut vine using Mossy Meadow scrap cardstock. On a scrap piece of crushed curry cardstock, add ink colors with sponge dauber or blending brush of Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler. Die cut with the leaves only die. Adhere vines and add leaves. Stamp sentiment with Cajun Craze.
