Today’s card uses an inlay technique! AND you can get a 2-fer…meaning make 2 complimentary cards at the same time 🙂
I purposely left off any sentiment so I can add it later as needed. But I most likely will use for a masculine birthday or note of some kind. Below is our morning sunrise view out. It was my card inspiration!
I did a Facebook Live on how to make if interested! You can watch it here:
General Instructions: I used 2 paper patterns that would work well when the trees were interchanged. Use Sticky Sheets to make “stickers” out of both the die-cut image and background. Using Adhesive Sheets really helps when image is detailed like the tree. Otherwise you could use a sponge and add liquid adhesive to the back of the tree. Trim off excess “sticky” prior to running through your die-cutting machine. Carefully add die cut image to the negative space for an inlay look.
Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper: (2) 3-3/4 x 5
Old Olive and Early Espresso Cardstock: 4 x 5-1/4
Thick Basic White Cardstock: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 for card base.
Take care and Happy Crafing!
