Masking Technique for Sunsets

Hi Everyone!

Here’s a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 card that features a masking technique for sunsets. I used a larger circle die from Layering Circles to make the mask.

• Make mask from a 4×4 cardstock. Die cut circle in the center.
• Tape over the white cardstock layer and use Blending Brushes to ink the inside. I used ink colors of: Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and a little Polished Pink.
• Stamp palm trees and sentiment.
• I kept it light inside for hand-written note.

To get crisp, black images, set up your tree images on the Stamparatus. I like to stamp the palm trees at least 2 times to get the contrast I’m looking for.
