Sunny Sentiments Sunray Paper Technique

Hi Everyone!

Here’s the final card of the week featuring another sentiment from Sunny Sentiments stamp set. It gives what I think is an artsy way of representing sunrays without being actually literal.

It’s easy to create the rays. Start with 1-1/2 x 4 strips of designer paper. Cut diagonally long ways. Alternate the patterns and glue in corner with points inward. Don’t worry about the points on the inside matching – the sentiment will cover.

Option to emboss the layer. I  used Tasteful Textile embossing folder. It’s kinda been my folder of the week too I just realized.
